ANDY WOLBER

Andy Wolber is the Executive Director of NPower Michigan and has been with the organization since 2002.  Andy has led technology strategy and planning workshops for more than 250 nonprofit organizations throughout the Midwest region.  Prior to joining NPower, Andy worked for USWeb/CKS, where he developed internet strategies for Fortune 500 clients, such as J.C. Penney and StorageTek, as well as for a nonprofit regional hospital system.  He had previously been appointed the youngest Executive Director in the sixty year history of the Dallas Historical Society, and had served as board chairman of the Arts District Friends.  Andy spent three years in fundraising staff roles for nonprofit cultural organizations, including Dallas Black Dance Theatre.  Andy holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Southern Methodist University.

LIZ RADUAZO

Liz Raduazo has been actively involved in grant proposal writing for the past 20 years.  She has worked extensively wiht teachers, school districts, and area nonprofit organizations that seek grant funding for various programs.  She is a retired public school teacher. 

RUTH ANN FERENCE

Grant writing consultant Ruth Ann Ference, has extensive public and private foundation success (more than $7.3 million) in raising funds for programs (start-up and expansion), technology, operations, and capital campaigns for healthcare, mental health, substance abuse treatment, domestic violence, homeless, libaries, pre-school, youth-at-risk, and geriatric social service agencies. 

REGINA FUNKHOUSER

Regina Funkhouser has more than 15 years experience writing grants for nonprofit organizations and is currently the Executive Director for Nonprofit Network.

Jerry Pinney is a consultant to small and mid-sized companies and nonprofits.  He also provides exectuive and personal coaching to persons who are interested in improving their quality of life. 

Jerry served as the Vice-president of Marketing for IGA staff office in Chicago, Vice-President of membership for the National Grocers Association, Sr. Vice-President of procurement for Shurfine International and as Managing Director of The Zenon Hansen Foundation. Jerry has also served on a number of nonprofit boards including: The Advisory and Development Board of the Parkside Pastoral Counseling Center in Park Ridge IL; The Maine Township Center for Addiction in Park Ridge, IL; The Human Services Advisory Commission of the City of Des Plaines, IL; The International Dairy, Deli-Bakery Association in Madison, WI; The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago and The Horizons Children Academy, Chicago

 

DIANA KERN

Diana Kern Vice President of Programs, NEW After twenty-five years of progressive advancement in real estate management with McKinley, a national real estate investment firm where she supervised multi-million dollar budgets and over 400 employees nationwide, Diana joined NEW as the Director of the BoardConnect® program with a commitment to board governance and strong non-profits. Diana also oversees NEW's ResourceConnect® program, which is the nonprofit community's first stop for assistance with management issues. She has served on numerous boards and been involved in non-profit fundraising. She received the Randolph W. White Memorial Award for Community Service in 2003 for her dedication to serving the housing community. She is also a certified trainer with the Institute of Real Estate Management.
