Nonprofit Network provides several trainings and workshops each month. All are affordable, some at no charge! Our curriculum is broad and diverse, covers areas such as fundraising and development, human resources, technology, leadership training, basic board training and governance.

We will bring our trainings to you - and if you need something special, we will find it, design it or customize it to fit your needs.

Board Development Program

One of the greatest challenges a board faces is recruiting, orienting and training new board members.

We do Board Assessments - they grade themselves, anonymously, on how they relate to the ED, each other, if they think they are all on the same page, if they believe they are doing well. We compile the results, identify where we think you should start and give you solid tasks to help you move forward.

We facilitate board retreats and strategic plans.

Consulting/Technical Assistance

We can review your bylaws, help develop a strategic plan, create a public relations or fundraising plan, review grant applications and teach you how to identify funding sources, or evaluate your programs.

Coordination, Information, Referral

We have extensive resources to serve you. We have sample policies, procedures and templates. Nonprofit Network acts as a point of coordination, information and referral for the nonprofit community.

We have a lending library with over 400 titles ranging from how to structure a board, how to run a committee meeting, how to write a grant, how to write an appeal letter, what your financial statements should look like, financial best practices, how to hire, how to fire.

We have a team of Community Partners - event planners, fundraisers, graphics designers, meeting facilitators - that have all agreed to provide services to our members at discounted prices. Contracts are written between you and Nonprofit Network, Nonprofit Network hires the consultant on your behalf and Nonprofit Network guarantees the work. (Most of these services are for Members Only.)
