Governance, Stewardship, and Strategic LeadershipNonprofit Network is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors responsible for ensuring the organization’s mission, long-term sustainability, and ethical stewardship. The Board sets strategic direction, provides fiduciary oversight, and supports the Executive Director in advancing equitable, effective nonprofit capacity-building across our communities.
Board members bring expertise in nonprofit governance, finance, philanthropy, law, education, public policy, and community leadership. Together, they hold the organization accountable to its mission, values, and the communities we serve.

Kevin Brown Board Chair
- Vice President of Student Development, Spring Arbor University; 30+ years in secondary and higher education and community leadership
- Expertise in governance leadership, higher education systems, diversity leadership, and executive administration
- Longstanding commitment to nonprofit service and community engagement across public, private, and nonprofit sectors

- Expertise in board governance, leadership development, organizational culture, and policy oversight
- Active civic leader engaged in young professional networks and community-based organizations

- Expertise in nonprofit finance, audit, risk management, and long-term fiscal sustainability
- Board and finance committee service with multiple faith-based and community nonprofits
