Workshop Description
Successful teams and organizations thrive when every person feels respected, understood, and empowered to contribute their best work. Inclusive Communication: Building Stronger Teams and Communities is an engaging, interactive workshop designed to build the awareness, skills, and confidence needed to communicate effectively across different backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences.
Through guided reflection, small‑group dialogue, and practical communication exercises, participants explore how bias, privilege, and cultural norms shape everyday interactions. Together, we examine how these forces can influence collaboration—and how strengthening our awareness can lead to more meaningful connections and better results.
Participants leave the session equipped with actionable tools to foster respectful conversations, navigate differences with empathy, and create more inclusive, productive, and trusting workplace relationships. This workshop strives toward improved sensitivity in communication and clearer understanding of the effects of privilege, unconscious bias, and steps to overcoming barriers.
